ST IVES
St Ives in Cornwall is a well known and popular Cornish holiday town, with crystal blue waters, golden sands and picturesque views.
The town is situated around the harbour where boats land daily catches of fish for the local restaurants. St Ives town is made up of a maze of tiny cobbled streets lined with fishermen's cottages, or wandering further afield can take you along the coastal path, south towards Lelant or west towards Zennor and Gurnards Head.
St Ives is renowned for its art, with a myriad of workshops, studios and galleries and at the heart of this is Tate St Ives. A part of the Tate Gallery, London, Tate St Ives is a stunning modern building, exhibiting local and national works.
Also in St Ives is the Barbara Hepworth Museum, displaying the works of the great sculptor who lived and worked in St Ives.
