The Estate has a long and fascinating history.
During the regeneration of the buildings and land between 2005 and February 2010, when The Cornwall Hotel, Spa and Estate opened, a medieval wayside cross, a Victorian vinery, walled garden and a quirky wine cellar have all been conserved.
Bat hotels, barns and tunnels are a new contribution to the diversity of this wonderful natural environment which includes dramatic oaks, sycamores, beech, poplars and chestnuts, and is now home to woodpeckers, ducks, geese, owls and rare bats.
